Cryogenic storage facility for SATVI

COMET Africa have recently completed the installation of a Cryogenic storage facility monitoring system for SATVI in Cape Town.

The storage facility has 16 -200C Cryogenic Tanks. Each tank was fitted with an independant Temperature probe. These probes were hard wired back to an MS6D unit with Ethernet connection and SMS modem. All data is diplayed on a PC, via the ethernet connection. All alarms are sent out via the SMS modem. Operators can request the current readings from the MS6D unit via the SMS module, anywhere in the world.
